If you're driving through Marshall County next week, expect lane restrictions on I-69 and a closed stretch of KY 795, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet's District 1 office. The I-69 asphalt project runs from mile point 24.9 near Mayfield to just south of Exit 41 at Benton.

I-69 and I-24 work zones come with tighter limits

15 miles

10.5 feet

KY 795/Scale Road is closed at mile point 5, between Milliken Mill Lane and KY 782/Salyer Creek Road, for culvert construction.

  • KY 795/Scale Road: local traffic only, finish expected late December
  • I-69 project: expected to wrap up by mid-November
  • I-24 Ohio River Bridge Phase 2: one lane each way until mid-November
  • U.S. 60 at KY 305: use U-turn crossovers, done around year's end

Most of the region's road work is set to finish by early 2027
