If you or someone you love ends up in a bed at Baptist Health Paducah, the nurses have a new helper. The Baptist Health Foundation Paducah donated 185 Hercules Patient Repositioners, according to a news release. They attach to existing hospital beds.
A conveyor-like system moves a patient higher in bed with the push of a button. One caregiver can do a task that typically takes two or three staff members, the hospital said.
